Officiating
The Central Piedmont Football League utilizes paid football officials in all league-sponsored pre-season, regular-season and playoff games. During the regular-season, officials are recruited and assigned by each host organization through a local booking agent. For playoff games, the Board of Directors coordinates the scheduling of officials with the host organizations. Although the League does not require a specific certification for all officials, the majority of officials used in league games have been certified by the NCHSAA (North Carolina High School Athletic Association) and officiate games at the Middle School and High School level and beyond.
