General Information
The Central Piedmont Football League is an affiliation of municipal and private youth football and cheerleading organizations spread across the Central Piedmont Region of North Carolina. Expanding out of an affiliation of teams from Chatham and Randolph Counties, the Central Piedmont Footbal League was established in 1991. Since its inception, the CPFL has continued to grow and now offers playing opportunities through 21 local organizations located in Chatham, Davidson, Durham, Guilford, Moore, Orange and Randolph Counties. The Central Piedmont Football League is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of full-time professionals in the field of Municipal Recreation & Parks. The Board of Directors works together with the local area directors to govern the CPFL by establishing and regularly reviewing playing rules, safety procedures, and various trends throughout youth football and cheerleading.
League Age/Weight Restrictions
The CPFL is comprised of three different age groups with varying weight limits for each group. Participant ages are defined as of August 1st of the current playing year. All participants in the CPFL are under the following age and weight restrictions:

League		Age	Weight (Maximum)
FLAG		5-6	no weight restrictions

PEE WEE		7-8	115 lbs.

MITE		9-10	135 lbs.

MIDGET		11-12	150 lbs.
